80 years ago, World War II in Europe ended with the surrender of the German armed forces. The Allied victory liberated Germany and large parts of the continent from the Nazi’s reign of terror.
Even today’s generation owes its freedom to what happened in a secret place in France all those years ago – in a school in the city of Reims.
On the anniversary of this historic event, award-winning German director Wim Wenders made a short film about ‘The Keys to Freedom’.
Freedom can’t be taken for granted, it must be defended – then and now.
That is why #WeInvestInFreedom.
